GULLY

Henri Iglesis is a contemporary artist of Catalan origin, known as the inventor of the blown sheet metal process.

In 2008, while working on a statue depicting his son, he came up with the idea of injecting air into a previously welded sheet metal piece.

The majority of his works are sculptures shaped through inflation.

This unique shaping process, which he refined and developed, is now officially patented, and the term "blown sheet metal" is copyrighted.

His minimalist works exude a characteristic lightness: visual lightness, combining the weight of the weathered metal with the flexibility of air; but above all, the lightness of a dreamlike, colorful, carefree world that Henri Iglesis transports us into.
